Took the missus and the boys to the Wild Wood Cafe for breakfast. We had tried other eateries at Function Junction as we like to eat where the "locals" eat. The food order is made at the counter and the meals are brought to your table. We were pleasantly surprised on the food quality and taste. The breakfast dishes were also reasonable priced. We found the coffee a bit weak but everyone enjoyed their meals and we will need to revisit to sample their other dishes.
Wildwood Cafe is one of the best cafes in and around whistler for breakfast.! I have tried their classic breakfast: Giant Eggs & Mountain Base Cheese Omlette and Thai Chicken Pasta and they're ultimately good.! It might feel a bit pricey when paying but after tasting the food, everything feels completely worthy.! Must Try.!

We've been visiting Whistler for a week, eating most meals out. This has been our fave. Very very fresh, large portions and great flavor. Found out that the chef is a pit master and has traveled the world - you can tell that he cares about presentation and flavor.

Found Wild Wood by accident while heading to the Train Wreck hike. Not sure how we got so lucky. We’re visiting from Washington state and this little hidden spot was one of the best meals we’ve had while in Whistler. You order at the counter and their menu isn’t enormous, but the food was incredible and the staff is so nice!! Currently trying to figure out how to plan another hike in that direction so we can go back before we leave!
Lovely Cafe with delicious food and friendly service. I would eat here everyday if I could, but I can’t and trust me it’s been on my mind since leaving Whistler! Best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had in my life, and the classic breakfast is absolute perfection!!!
